For more then 35 years, anti-corrosion protection system Serviwrap® has provided solid, self-sealing anticorrosion protection for both new and repaired pipelines, underground tanks and other steel structures. Anticorrosion protective system Serviwrap^® includes the following component

• self-adhesive tape Serviwrap^® R30A of different widths;
• quick-dry penetration coating Serviwrap^® Primer AB;
• permanent plastic sealant Serviwrap^® Moulding Putty;
• and where the outer protective tape is needed, Serviwrap^® Outerwrap of different widths.

Serviwrap^® is used for anticorrosion protection of metal pipes, tanks, etc. stored underground or in water, even salt. Serviwrap^® R30A tapes are often used for repairs, especially on pipeline with asphalt coatings, for their good compatibility with different systems used. Serviwrap^® is suitable for all sizes of tanks and all pipeline diameters for transporting, keeping or storing gas, oil, water or other media. The warranty period is ten years.

Serviwrap^® system is the most proven tape anticorrosion insulation for steel pipes. It has the following outstanding features:

• It has a unique grip, is totally waterproof, protects against moisture or steam.
• It has excellent mechanical strength.
• The application does not require the use of special equipment and its logistics.
• Its use does not require heating.
• It does not require much space around protected pipeline (for manual application, 25 cm of free space around the pipe is sufficient).
• There is no specific requirements for the clearance under the pipeline, there is no need to manually undermine the pipeline to increase the clearance.
• It requires a minimal staff.
• Allows insulation even under difficult conditions for surface preparation. If it is not possible to carry out blasting, the material shows satisfactory adhesion characteristics and good corrosion protection barrier even with simple mechanical cleaning of the surface to the level Gr. 2÷3.
• It represents a versatile system compatible with all currently used insulation systems with possibie applications on pipelines in service and during shutdowns.
• It is excellent for overinsulation of joints and transitions between different original insulation systems, e.g. in combination with bituminous insulation systems.
• It has a high tensile strength, the optimal elongation, insulation resistance, resistance to the cathodic disbondment. i.e. insulation peeling due to cathodic protection current, has a large range of operating temperatures, can be used even in mild frost.
